We do not use standard Q345 steel for our lowbeds. We use HG60 High Strength Steel. This material offers high yield strength, ensuring the main beam will not bend or break even when carrying concentrated loads (like a heavy excavator in the center).

We use 2 layers of anti-rust primer and 2 layers of Polyurethane finish paint. Before shipping, every trailer is sprayed with protective wax to prevent seawater corrosion.

Q: Can you customize the width for wider machinery?

A: Yes! The standard width is 3000mm, but we can install Side Brackets (Outriggers) to extend the width to 3500mm or more for oversized loads.

Q: What is the difference between Mechanical and Hydraulic Ramps?

A: Mechanical (Spring) Ramps are simple, low maintenance, and cost-effective. Hydraulic Ramps are easier to operate (one button lift) but cost slightly more. For 80 Ton trailers, both work well, but hydraulic is recommended for frequent use.

Q: How do you ship this trailer?

A: Due to the large size (3m width), we usually ship via Bulk Cargo Ship or Ro-Ro Ship. We can also cut the trailer tail to fit into a 40ft HQ Container (requires welding at destination) to save freight costs.

Q: Where can I get spare parts?

A: Kales uses standard international parts (like FUWA axles, JOST legs, WABCO valves). You can easily find replacements in local African markets. We also supply spare parts kits at factory cost.
